Lenten Mission

Our Parish will be having a Lenten Mission this year on three evenings in March, Monday March 7th, Tuesday March 8th, and Wednesday, March 9th held at St. Pius X Church. Each evening will begin at 7:00pm and will run for one hour. The Mission speaker will be Fr. Richard Lewandowski Fr. Richard was ordained a priest in the Diocese of Worcester, MA in 1974. Before his retirement in 2005, his ministry included serving in parishes & college campuses, while also assisting as chaplain to the Fitchburg Police & Fire Department. He is a licensed mental health counselor and has written children’s books including “The First Easter Bunny”, Babci’s Angel, “Shooting Stardust”, and “It’s Christmas Again”.

In addition to assisting in weekend parish ministry, and weekday to the elderly, Fr. Rich conducts 12-Step Recovery Retreats, Recovery Conferences, Parish Retreats & Missions, while also counseling first responders and combat veterans dealing with addiction and post traumatic stress disorder. Fr. Richard invites you all to consider making this part of your Lenten observance. Let us all ask God to bless our parish as we prepare to have this mission.
