Seder Meal

Submitted by RonRProuty on March 1, 2015 - 4:28pm

Our very popular Seder (Passover) Meal will be held again this year on Palm Sunday, March 29, at 4:30pm in the St. Pius X hall. This prayerfulexperience recalls the setting in which Jesus held his Last Supper. As prescribed in the Old Testament, the meal will consist of roast lamb (a limited number of checken pot pies will be available upon request), and all the traditional vegetables. Not only do we vividly participate in the ceremony, but also enjoy a wonderful family style meal.

Please make sure you call the office by March 15th so we can plan for the correct amount of food. We are looking for volunteers to help coordinate the food, set up and clean the hall, prepare the supplies, provide the music and enlist fellow parishioners to help with the celebration.

The Parish will provide the main part of the meal. We are asking that you bring a side dish (vegetable, rice plaf, or garden salad) or dessert. A free-will offereing of $5 per person will help defray the cost.

It is a wonderful way for your whole family to begin Holy Week.
