Monday through Wednesday - 8:30am in MSJ Chapel
Financial Statement
The Parish has met it’s financial responsibilities for the current diocesan bills for fiscal year 2019, paying a total of $55,635.00.
Haiti Ministry
You can bring warmth and comfort to the life of an orphaned child in Haiti. If you can sew in a straight line, or are able to cut fabric, you can create beautiful blankets, pillow cases and dresses. Please consider sharing your talents to brighten a child's life. Please take a look at the ites sewn by the Haiti Sewing Miinstry on display in St. Pius X Church.
Please contact Gail Caika at 508-892-9604 for additional information.
Children's Christmas Shoppe
Children will be invited to go to the New To You Trift Shop before and after CCD on December 16th for some Christmas shopping. Gifts will be wrapped for free so the kids can keep their gift selections a secret!
Grand Fall Raffle
Raffles tickets have been sent to all parishioners for the Grand Fall Raffle. It is our hope that parishioners will continue to purchase one or more and sell others to neighbors, family, and friends as tickets sales help to insure the success of our fair. Drawings will take place on Saturday. September 22nd at our Parish fair following the 4:00pm Mass. Additional tickets are available to purchase. Please help support our Parish through the sales of these tickets.,
Lottery Ticket Donations
Through the month of August, we are asking parishioners if they could donate one or more new scratch tickets, any denomination to be used for a raffle basket at our parish fair on Sept. 22nd. They can be dropped in the collection basket or at the Parish Office. Your support as always is greatly appreciated.
Haiti Bowls
Haiti Bowls are available to take in the front and back of the church. Please take a bowl and prayer leaflet. The bowls may be returned during Holy Week or during the week after Easter. Direct donations are welcomed at any time during the year by marking them “For Haiti" and placing them in the offertory baskets at any Mass. Remember a little goes a long way in Haiti.
Partners in Charity Campaign
Hello to All!! Well here we are again beginning our Partners in Charity Campaign. This is, of course, our annual appeal for funds to support the ministries that happen not only in Leicester, but also throughout the Diocese. These ministries include Clergy Retirement, Catholic Campus Ministry, Seminarian Education, African Ministry, Catholic Charities and many others. These ministries serve a wide variety of peoples in our Diocese who are in need in a variety of ways.
The Giving Tree
To help make this Christmas a special Christmas for many in need, please consider taking one or more tags from our giving tree and fulfilling a Christmas wish. Please return wrapped gifts under the tree by Dec. 10th (although will accept until no later than Dec. 17 th) so that they can be distributed. Thank you - it is very much appreciated!
