Good evening! I hope everyone has had a wonderful summer thus far and have had a chance to enjoy getting outside- especially after this past year. A few changes this year with religious education. After many years of service Lauren Bjork has decided to pursue other ventures in her life and will no longer be the DRE for our parish. I wish her well and thank her for all she has given to this program. I will be stepping in as the new director. So, I thank you in advance for your patience as I learn a new role. Luckily, after teaching 2ndgrade for about a decade I know most of the families already and am looking forward to knowing the younger families that will be joining us. So please feel free to reach out to me any time.
Classes this year will be in person and will start on Sunday September 19th. We will follow the CDC and diocese of Worcester guidelines for the use of masks/ sanitizing in our classes. More to follow on this as we get closer to the start date.
Classes for K-6 will be meeting at St. Joseph campus from 10:15-11:15 am.
Classes for 7- High School will be meeting at St. Pius X following the teen mass which starts at 4:30pm
The link for registering your child(ren) is below. Also attached is the calendar for all grades. Registration this year is via google link, and you can also pay your registration fees via the link provided to PayPal at the end of your registration. If you prefer to give a check on the first day of classes, that is always an open also. If you prefer to be sent a paper form that can either be dropped off in the collection basket or at MSJ house please just reply to this email, and I will forward.
The cost of registration this year is $50.00 per child (with a family maximum of $140). Please let me know if cost is an issue for your family. Also, a reminder to all who volunteer as catechists, as a thank you for your service, we waive the fee for your children to attend religious education classes
Classes will begin on Sunday, September 19th. I ask that registration forms be submitted as soon as possible, so that I can finalize preparations and materials for classes. We are still in need of volunteers to be catechists and helpers in the classroom. Please let me know if you are interested in helping!
We are looking forward to another terrific year with all of you! Please feel free to call me at (508)304-2685 or email (firstname.lastname@example.org) with questions!
